I have always admired antique jewelry. I am captivated by the designs of the past and fascinated by their romantic and mysterious history. Each piece of jewelry tells a story, yet many of these treasures have been sitting dormant for years just waiting to be rediscovered. I think if myself as “the jewelry archeologist of the twenty-first century” as I seek to uncover beautiful artifacts from past decades.
After I find my treasures, I give them a new life by reusing the materials and creating a distinctive piece of wearable art. Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted with items from the last hundred years. Explore all the unique, repurposed, handcrafted jewelry that Renewable Jewels has to offer.

Prior to pursuing and cultivating my love of jewelry design, I spent 15 years in the media industry working for some of the most well-known radio broadcast companies in the US. During this period, I regularly designed jewelry for me and my friends on nights and weekends. In 2008, I decided to follow my passion and redirect my energy by creating handcrafted one-of-a kind jewelry (while simultaneously raising my three young children). I attended evening classes at UC Davis to learn more about metallurgy, casting, and soldering.
In 2010, I decided to launch Renewable Jewels. Today, you can find me and my handcrafted jewelry at some of the leading art shows throughout Northern California. Alternatively, you can view and purchase featured pieces on this website. Follow @renewablejewels on Instagram to see what I am working on and my daily inspirations.
